This credit guide is required to be given to you under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth). It contains important information about our services, how we are remunerated, and your rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

Trimboli Finance (ABN: 96 849 943 641) is authorised as a Credit Representative (No. 478816) of Australian Finance Group Ltd, Australian Credit Licence No. 389087. We act as a mortgage broker, assisting consumers to obtain credit products from our panel of lenders.

2. Services we provide

We provide credit assistance services including suggesting and helping you apply for particular credit products, acting as an intermediary between you and lenders, and providing information to help you understand your options.

3. Our lender panel

We have access to products from 30+ lenders. A full list of lenders on our panel is available on request. Trimboli Finance is not owned by any lender on our panel, and our recommendations are based on your individual circumstances.

4. How we are paid

We receive upfront commissions and trailing commissions from lenders when your loan settles. These commissions are paid by the lender, not by you directly. The specific amount will vary depending on the lender and loan product. We will disclose the commission we expect to receive in our Credit Proposal Disclosure document before you proceed with any application.

5. Your rights

You have the right to receive a Credit Proposal Disclosure document before we submit your application to a lender. You also have the right to request a copy of this credit guide at any time, and to make a complaint if you are dissatisfied with our services.

6. Responsible lending

We are obligated under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 to make reasonable inquiries about your financial situation, requirements, and objectives, and to ensure any credit product we recommend is not unsuitable for you.

7. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us in the first instance at rocky@trimbolifinance.com.au or 0432 068 076. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may contact the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) at www.afca.org.au or 1800 931 678.
